Product good, shipping horrible
Needed 5 balusters recently. They totaled just over $40. My shipping was nearly as much which doubled my total. I understand shipping costs have risen but I routinely ship and that should not have cost $40 to ship a handful of hollow balusters.

The shipping cost for us on the 60' long horizontal bars is unfortunately higher due to the longer length of the bars compared to our standard 44' long, iron balusters. So even just one baluster shipped at 60' long ends up having a minimum cost of approx. $38 (compared to the $38.57 for your recent order of 4 bars). The good news is that we can ship 15 bars (the amount of a full carton) at the same rate before the shipping kicks it into two packages. Great look but a bit light duty, I would restrict the span to 30’’ between posts and even then don’t let the kids climb on them.

Horizontal iron parts...
They are great, but we were told to buy far too many. I gave exact measurements to your company and the person helping us recommended far too many. We have a complete unopened box and part of another box that we didn’t need. I’ve sent emails asking what we can do, but haven’t heard back. It’s a pretty good amount of money that we didn’t need to spend. Please let us know if these are returnable. I’m still not sure why we were recommended to buy so many horizontal rails! Thank you

We can certainly take back these horizontal iron bars as a return! I'm sending you the return address and return instructions to your email right now. Sorry for the late reply by our Returns Department. In regards to the issue of how many bars were ordered, I've gone through our many emails and it seems that the issues we discussed were the style of the newel posts and bars, possible code and safety concerns, and finding something that could ship quickly for the project. The amount of bars that we listed in our quote was the amount you had listed from your contractor in your list of requested parts and I wasn't able to find any discussion of particular measurements outside of the rake section of your staircase measuring at 7.5' (when we discussed the recommendation of an intermediate post due to using the horizontal bars for that long of a span).
