I was excited to finally remodel my stairs and saved a ton of money doing it myself but the parts and craftsmanship were sub-par for the price. The stair shoes were extremely cheap, poorly painted, and the set screws were hard to tighten due to the paint in the threads. I had to order more from Amazon instead because the shipping would've been $48 for $10 in new shoes. The ones I got on Amazon were a much cheaper price and way better quality. The posts arrived nicely wrapped with very few dents but they weren't primed like I asked for. Instead of sending them back I sanded and primed them myself so I could complete the project. The mounting blocks were extremely oversized for the posts and are not necessary. You're better off making your own custom ones to fit the posts. I would order only the posts from this company again because they had by far the best designs. I'm happy with the final outcome but I'd do alot of things differently.

I'm sorry to hear that you had some issues with your order. In the future, you can always email us or give us a call to address these issues right aways so we can get them fixed for you. In regards to the newels, we don't offer a primed option for these items and I don't see any notes on the order about having these primed. I'm sorry if there was any confusion about this. Workmanship was really rough trim was hold on with the minimal amount of glue and a couple pieces fell off and had to be reattached and it took a good deal of sanding, filling and caulking to get them to finish grade so I could use them
