The 4091 Arts & Crafts Style Box Newel is available in most every readily available wood species. The
American-crafted 4091 features a flat top but can be ordered with an option for a pointed top if you choose. This newel is handcrafted to give your staircase the look of fine furniture.

I ordered 6 Newell posts that were supposed to be high end for what my customer paid. 3 out of the 6 were damaged. I was sent 2 top pieces that were also damaged to fix the damaged posts. I had to repair the posts at no discount for the extra work I had to do and haven't received the last post so my homeowners are left with a 15 ft section of a catwalk with no railing. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement. As a contractor who has ordered a lot from this company I have to find a different business to order from because stairpartsusa has made my company look unprofessional and I now have safety concerns that I'm liable for because of thier lack of detail with packaging and lack of urgency for making thier mistakes right.

Apologies again for the shipping damages that occurred during your freight shipment. We were notified of the damage a week after the order was delivered and without a damage notation at the time of the delivery. Unfortunately, this prevented us from filing a damage claim to cover the replacement parts and newel, but we did cover the cost to produce and rush the replacements as soon as were notified and received photos of the damages. The cap and trim kits were sent out the very next day so you could fix the first two newels, while the full newel was sent three days later right after it was rushed through production. I see the newel was delivered yesterday via FedEx Home Delivery. In regards to any damage to the replacement cap and trim kits, one of our customer representatives did ask for some photos of the damage so we could send out replacements, but were told that you weren’t going to send any photos. If you do want those replaced, please feel free to reach out and send some photos of the damaged kits. For the issues on this order, I’m issuing you a 10% refund for your order back to your card to help out with the extra time and repair work on your end for these damages.

I ordered 5 newel posts 2 came damaged but no damage to the box it was shipped in so it must of been packed damaged. I had ordered one too many so just ordered one more and it came damaged. Also with no damage to the box, they all were also packed very well by box inside another box with packing material between boxes. Ended up taking parts off one newel and replacing on another one, to make one good newel. Stairparts USA was good about refunding for the extra newel.
