Great looking white oak newel post. Glad I bought this vs turning my own.

Great purchase. The 4pc lamination is very well matched and likely unnoticeable by anyone other than a woodworker. The orientation is likewise well done, with the proper sides showing nice QS ray flecks, and none on the adjacent face. Really glad I bought this vs turning my own. The corners and features are crisp and the sanding is satisfactory.
