While everyone wants to make their home look spectacular, not every home has an unlimited budget; that's why we offer a variety of American-made quality box newel posts and turned newel posts in standard grade as well as deluxe. We believe in our American craftsmen who carefully build each newel post with the kind of care and attention to detail that has them recognized as quality craftsmen.

Box newels make a statement. Box newel posts are used in a Post to Post stairway system. Our American made and crafted box newels are beautiful pieces of furniture. We offer contractor grade box newels that we consider to be the best value in the industry. We offer raised panel, recessed panel, plain, oval and fluted box newels to match your decorating tastes. They are available in American Cherry, Brazilian Cherry, Red Oak, White Oak, Hard Maple, Soft Maple, Hickory and other wood types by request. In addition we offer a straight 3 1/2" box newel called the 4075, for those wanting the box newel look in a smaller size. Our American crafted box newels feature lock miter joints and are hand sanded.

Our newest edition to our lineup of box newels is the 4491 5" plain box newel. This box newel is just the right size for many wanting the look of a box newel, but who are limited in space. The 4491 is available in red oak as a standard grade (contractor grade) box newel. This new newel is available with either a pointy top or a flat top. The bottom on this newel is a sleeve with a solid post passing through it. This allows the post to be cut to the right height without changing the look of the newel significantly. If you do not have space to use a box newel on your stairway, consider using our turned newels. Our American made turned newel posts are beautiful accents to any home. Skilled craftsmen spend as much time sanding our newel posts as they do turning them. This leaves little sanding for you to do before finishing.
