NOTE: The standard version of the Ole Iron Slides balusters now ships with 2 swivel shoes and one flat (base) shoe. The Ole Iron Slides balusters require Allen wrenches (not included): metric #2 and #4.
I had always wanted to change out my white wooden balusters for wrought iron and I figured it would cost a fortune to hire someone to do it. I started doing some research and found Stair Parts USA and watched their installation videos. I thought "I can do this myself!" So I ordered 117 balusters (ugh!) and started replacing them. It took me a few days and some sore hands, but I did it! I am so very pleased with the results! I am a 62 year old female and I replaced all those balusters completely on my own. If this is something you have been wanting to do in your home, don't hesitate. It is completely worth it!

LOVE! I love these. They are so easy to install and add instant beauty. Especially when upgrading from 90s spindles that weren’t well cared for. I only bought enough for one section and will 100% buy the rest very soon!

Transformed old to new!
Replaced wood balusters with alternating 'plain' and 'single swirl.' Painted all of the natural wood on the staircase white. Placed new balusters 3 3/4" apart to comply with code. Modernized the appearance tremendously!
