Our complete line of wood balusters are some of the finest on the market today. We guarantee quality, and with our wide selection of beautifully crafted wood balusters, you are sure to find the right style for your home.

Balusters, also referred to as spindles, are a very important stair part. A grouping of balusters is referred to as a balustrade. Spindles are a very important stair part as they support the stair handrails and add artistic visual interest and character to the entire balustrade system. Balusters are found not only in staircases, but in other areas of the home as well. You may be able to find balusters used in baby cribs, wall dividers, and furniture. Why are these artistically crafted, beautifully carved pieces of wood so useful and coveted? First of all, these wood spindles are used by experts in the trade simply as guide-rails and barriers, but their beauty goes well beyond their practical uses. Balusters are often used as decorations and have the ability to instantly add character and design. You can find spindles purposed for both the interior and exterior of the home.

Wood balusters offer incomparable traditional and classic beauty. Using only the finest quality wood, our craftsmen are able to create detailed and diverse designs that will create a favorable architectural statement in any home. StairPartsUSA.com offers a wide variety of wood balusters. Our wood balusters are hand-crafted and made in America by skilled craftsmen that take pride in their products and treat them as works of art. Our craftsmen spend more time turning our balusters and give their full attention to detail. Each baluster is inspected by hand and sanded before shipping. Although we do offer contractor grade balusters as well, we do not rely solely on these mass produced ones like many of our competitors.

All of our wood balusters are unfinished natural wood that is ready to be stained, unless specified at paint grade or primed white. Paint grade balusters are ready to be primed and then painted, but are not generally considered to be "Stain Grade".  Primed white balusters are "Pre-primed" with white primer and ready for painting.
